The multiverse is a concept that has long intrigued philosophers and scientists alike, and for good reason. It suggests that the universe we live in may only be one of many, each existing in its own dimension or reality. This hypothetical collection of universes is often referred to as the multiverse. It could be infinite in size, with an infinite number of universes within it — each with its own laws of physics, matter and energy.

Proponents of the multiverse theory believe that each universe within this vast collection can exist independently from one another and are not connected by any sort of physical closeness or contact. In other words, they are completely isolated from one another. This idea has been theorized by a variety of different scientific fields including cosmology, quantum mechanics and string theory.

One major reason why the multiverse theory is so popular is because it offers a potential explanation for certain phenomena which cannot be currently explained by modern science such as the origin of the universe, dark matter and dark energy.
